T'is Christmas Poem by James Hunter

T'is Christmas

T'is the night before Christmas
And the sleigh is all packed
The reindeer are ready
Their bells are attached
Some last minute snacks
And a chat with the elves
The lists have been checked
Then filed on the shelves
A hug and a kiss
From my Mrs. Claus
The reindeer are nervously
Stamping their paws
I hop in my sleigh
And pick up the reins
They all stand at attention
As I call their names
Onwards we go
Like a beacon of light
Delivering presents
All through the night
A warning to those
Who stay awake peeking
I will not stop by
Until you are sleeping
So stay in your bed
And I shall appear
Merry Christmas to all
And have a Blissful New Year!
