i saw walking cat
silently in darkness
her eyes so bright
staring at me through
i am frozen can't move
maybe mesmerized, i blink
she vanish in bushes

what could be her message
to my mind that i can read
she's surprise i could see
see her in shadows of leaves
i could feel her heart seeking
somebody to pet her, feed her
loneliness could have beset her
