Sun Chariot Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Sun Chariot

Who pulls sun chariot?
The son did insist
I did not want him to be wrong answer
So I said only God or creator

He was somewhat convinced
As he had read it in advance
Searched all over from elders
And finally thanked with cheers

God save us all
From such type of call
Where were totally ignorant
Totally unaware and absent

Day and night is pushing
Chariot is moving
With many deaths
And arrival of new souls with breathes

We find picture of our ancestors
Hanging on wall with honor
We have kept their large picture
To feel and think of past, present and future
