Summer's Embrace Poem by Keith Duperreault

Summer's Embrace

In golden light, where dreams take flight, the sun's eternal kiss
embraces all, a fleeting sight, a summer's fleeting bliss
Of fields that hum with azure skies, in laughter's gentle blend,
where whispers soft on breezes rise, sweet thoughts to heaven wend
As tranquil waves caress the shore, where zephyrs lightly play,
the verdant trees in shadows lore, invite to dream and stay
Beneath their boughs, life finds its ease, in blooms that gently sway,
while fragrant scents, the soul's appease, in nature's grand ballet
With every step, the earth exudes the warmth of love's embrace,
as life unfurls in playful moods, in every cherished place
The sultry air bears joy's refrain, in echoes pure and clear,
as carefree days of love remain, dispelling every fear
For beneath the sun's unyielding gaze, the world finds its complete,
in moments caught in warm embrace, where thoughts will find their seat
Though shadows loom and time may pass, this solace never wanes,
for in the heart, this dream shall last, as life forever reigns
