To Dream Poem by Keith Duperreault

To Dream

And were my dreams unsinking ships
on sails of cloud and wispy blue
my earthly coil come unwound
would seem a simple time or two

And were my sighs a listful breeze
that guides me through this soft delight
I'd dream of giants once again
that drift along on pale moonlight

And were my life of dreams and sighs
here in between the earth and sky
I would not spend my waning years
bound to the earth, my days gone by
