Stupid Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Stupid

I ain't ever been so stupid to
wait to hear from you
like them others might do
I ain't ever one to be stressed
with cleaning up a mess
those cards ain't in my deck
I ain't ever looked to copulate
I'd always annihilate
any of those offenses
Cause some privacy is for a love
with good intentions
not a one night that's short of

I ain't ever been so stupid that
I ain't have my back
Whenever it would count
I have always known the price
and I won't sacrifice
who I am no matter the cost
regardless the bounty

I ain't someone needing too much help
when I can get it done myself
I can run an empire or two
Better than a boss
I keep my game on ten

You have missed out
when you passed me some years back
all of sudden you come around
wanting me to play on your team
you won't have no luck
You will be dismissed
cause you can't handle this
give it up go head and quit
while you have your dignity

If it's love you're looking to find
you need someone a little blind
that'll give you a little time
Cause this right here is not for you
I think that you'd find someone who
Be so stupid as to be used
