Strutting Melodies Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Strutting Melodies

Listening to captivating melodies as they strut their stuff
into a country-western bar and restaurant, where everyone
is part of this family where music is always tantamount.

Couples getting up to dance, strobe lights sparkling in colors
above, rushing silently back and forth across the dance floor,
everyone having the time of their lives at the Wagon Yard.

Enjoying this country-western atmosphere, laid-back and easy
going, an environment we all love, never wanting it to change,
American food, music keeping us in synch with freedom and a
liberty here in the good old U.S.A.
