Still Bear Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Still Bear

Still bear

Love me for being outspoken
Offering criticism even
That is in my blood
And moves in veins to provide food

I may breathe same
But claim differently
For the cause I pursue surely
To achieve it squarely

I may not want help from anybody
But more hands to join for elimination of poverty
Many may pull out from their participation
But I shall continue crusade for its elimination

Condemn me outright
If I fight
With goalless drive
As I wish everybody to survive

So either side me with love
Or down me with hate and drive
Home with no indecisiveness
I shall still bear smile on face
