Still Breathing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Still Breathing

Rating: 5.0

“I am still breathing” complained friend
“Everybody breathe till the end “I answered
“It is not as simple as you think”
“I am loosing grip and sinking” friend wept

I tried to gather and know what is breathing last
What complications you have when you breathe fast
It is different when you have space to breathe
Alters meaning when you find it difficult to breathe

Failure in love makes to palpitate fast
Blood may run in vein as if to last
No system may come to help or relief
Surely it is feeling and our belief

It seems emotions and feelings try to unite
Holy relations develop and strengthen the tie
Breathe in and out may decide the course
Life may hang on thread with insecurity of course

Little upset may cause you deep breather
Whole body may shiver with small change in weather
It may cause anxiety mixed with anger
Nothing may appeal not even good food or hunger

It may not augur well with normal movement
Nothing may seem fine with every moment
“Why did you fall in love”? You may think and lament
“God is not merciful” you may weep and comment

It is something never experienced before
All feeling genuinely come on the fore
Your heart is gripped with unknown fear
So many thoughts may enter and agony you bear

One must balance and view it as natural
Try to express freely or converse it oral
It may balance the sudden outburst or flow
You may find it heartening with shine and glow

It is God’s gift to find place as usual
Accept it as it is and treat it casual
No blossom no fragrance may ever take place
Only love can do it and nothing can replace

in first stanza, ..it is a dialogue...so, i will comment like this..the author is expressing nice advices to some who suffers skip beating, who suffers hyper vent or to people who lacks rest...so in addition to his advice, i will make my own version under the supervision of ''me''lolz.... 1..never take problem as deadly 2.trust GOD and pray 3.never be stressed 4.have a little time for urself 5.follow doctor's advice 6.do what u think it is good for you, for that is one way of healing urself...lavs ya dear.....

It may be that love upsets the normal course of our breathing, but love is the only real life there is. Sometimes those who breathe normally and evenly do so because they are not really alive; their vision is limited. Better love with all its agonies than a physically healthy, boring, and unfulfilled life. I think that is what you're saying here. Thanks. If time allows, please read 'October Panther' and 'Hospital Walls'.
