Speaks Nothing Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Speaks Nothing

I kept dreaming
And leaning
Against wall
To wait for her call

She was unimaginative
And really black and native
She had fascinated me from day one
I had decided to have her and none else

Her face creative
And really impressive
Full of innocence
And lovely to glance

Such fine character was away
I was swept by her sway
Even though she had promised
But I really missed

Her words were knocking in ear drums
I was looking around turn
She before my eyes
But soon went to another form when I tried

She is in full embrace
As I lean over her face
She speaks nothing
But offers me everything
