Speaking of Fairytales (cavatina)

Suddenly awakening from a dream
in love we were
and you like lovely Snow-white were smiling
while here and there
the most beautiful flowers blossomed
while everywhere
life seemed like the most abundant spring
and I more of a frog than prince charming.
