Somewhere In Southern Leyte Poem by John Hazon Palen

Somewhere In Southern Leyte

Rating: 5.0

Somewhere in Southern Leyte
Where a happy family stays,
They're there for more than decade;
Love in between can't fade.

Somewhere in Southern Leyte
Where house is home all day,
All five stars have space to play;
Bright and mindful dreams they made.

Somewhere in Southern Leyte
Where nearby is a Narra tree,
My father farms when morning breaks;
Mom sews then cooks with smiling face.

Somewhere in Southern Leyte
Where our house stands firm,
My family's there in gaiety;
Love in between and unity.

(This poem speaks for itself! I have written this one so as to tell the whole, wide world how I love my family.. My father is an excellent father who is a farmer, my mom is a very wonderful mother and wife, and I have my ate, ditse, diko, bunso who are all supportive and great! I can say that I'm so blessed to have them and so I make myself also worthy for them having me.. God bless, everyone!)
