Somewhere Else Poem by Alan Bruce Thompson

Somewhere Else

Rating: 5.0

Even though I'm sitting here, just looking at the sea,
My mind is actually somewhere else, where it wants to be.

Although there are roses everywhere and orchids fill the sky,
My eyes are looking for my love and I don't know why,
She is sitting somewhere else, for the by and by.

Ah, there she is, on the other shore,
But really I can't see that far.

For she is miles away, where I cannot see,
My mind brings her here next to me.

Your eyes search for immortal and lovely love although there are roses everywhere and orchids fill the sky. Love and natural imagery both are drawn in amazing manner and beautiful essence is noted in this poem. This is excellently penned.10
