I spent all day planning
To make it a good day
But it isn't always worth it
Sometimes you gotta pay

I waste my time daydreaming
About me and you
You're always in my head
Stuck to me like glue

Why can't I forget you
I'm stuck inside the past
I assumed I would be over you
I never though it would last

You don't mess with a girl
Who is sweet innocent and shy
You shouldn't have tried to hurt me
Shouldn't have made me cry

I knew that you were lying
I knew it all along
I knew that you were weak
I knew that you weren't strong

They say you learn a lesson
From every choice you make
But all that I have learned
Was that you're a big mistake

I think I'm gonna find someone
To give and hold my heart
Someone to protect it
And not tear it apart

Today when you walked by me
On the floor that's tiled
I looked up at your face
The memories made me smile

When I got home today
Water fell from my eyes
When I told you that I loved you
All of it was lies
