Silver Moon Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Silver Moon

Rating: 5.0

I was staring at silver moon
The little food stuff felled down from spoon
It took me years back of memory
When I had really cried and felt sorry

Two beautiful hands as if extended
Some good words aired and recommended
I could pick nothing but did not feel offended
As they were meant for me to be attended

It is good to be careful and attentive
So you loose nothing and remain subjective
Love and opportunities not afforded each time
It is rare chance and comes only sometimes

It is not that I remained less attached
She was perfectly suited and matched
Yet something really went wrong
I was to be considered looser among

She really made me happy and courageous
Her backing was full of spirit and continuous
I would have not dared to take big step forward
If she was not going to offer me big reward

She was in every inch or senses a perfect figure
Any one would offer his hand for sure
I was dreaming of day in night
As she had promised me to do it right

I came back in real life once again
She was with like boom in moon
I stared once again to find her near
I couldn’t and was gripped by fear

How many people may be lucky all the times?
Who would see their dreams realized with smiles?
I was fortunate to have lost her
As she too was placed so near

I am at peak of my carrier
I heard she is also happier
What matters most is stranger like feeling?
When we had parted almost smilingly and willing

I felt moon was about to hide behind clouds
It was doing so without making any sound
I saw her reflection as if shying away
Where as I was never obstacle in her way
