Set Free From Prison

Set free

When criminals get free
They celebrate
With firecrackers
And sometimes shoot in the air

When politicians are absolved
Their party resolves
To give boost to their sagging image
And use propaganda machinery and manage

Even though, there are three tier systems
Nothing can be commented upon judgments
This is well-established practice
But politicians think they are above laws

They use media to demand an apology
As if the final verdict is delivered already
There is high court and finally supreme court
They finally here and give verdict

Sometimes trial court rejects plea on technical grounds
And dismiss one the pleas that prosecution has found
That there is no evidence to put them on trial
They are set free and free individuals

Agree with you - our pathetic system in support of injustice and unlawful practices rather than gearing in truth and justice. Annapurna Sharma, Dec 23,2017
