Serve At Best Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Serve At Best

Serve at best

Only memory remains
Where are magnificent seas?
The big creatures and small fishes
All are nearing to extinct and virtually finished

Nothing shall com to shore
For our store
As no living things shall survive
Thank God, we have become naive

Big whales are no more there
Dolphins also disappeared
Reckless killing is on
The savage story is shown

Yes, we shall visit sea
And see
The kind gesture on part
How can we forget vastness and depart!

It is for us to serve
And observe
Where does lie our interest?
Let, we humans, serve at best
