Sanyasins (Detachment Of The World) Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

Sanyasins (Detachment Of The World)

Sanyasins needn't wear ochre robes and roam
With no fixed abode and belongings.
Sanyas is the state of one's consciousness.
Sanyas is the state where you own nothing.
Be a cashier to the cash you hold.
Be a gate keeper of the house you live in.
Be a child to the opposite genders.
You'll have been a sanyasin indoor.
