Sadness
The sadness is so deep, nothing can soothe it.
Nothing can touch it.
The emptiness is so total - nothing can penetrate it.
All eight of us children and Dad can feel it each on our own.
Yet, even we can't ease the pain for each other.
Nothing has ever felt this way before.
And nothing is all we have to look forward to with Mom gone.
The loss of a nearer person makes the people so saddened that it cannot be expresses but can be realized only when it happens.
