Saddened Stories Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Saddened Stories

Silence spreading across a mind preoccupied with interior
feelings and emotions, trying to untangle them without
much luck so far.

Listening to the wonder, as it finds its way into memories
of yesterday, telling saddened stories of the sacrifices
in life left behind in ravines of our sunsetical shores.

Unable to navigate or find our way through the sacredness of
a life that has left and is no more, we wend our ways to the
black curtains of death.
