Sacred Tears Of Loss Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sacred Tears Of Loss

Heart beating rhythms of yesterday's love, missing you so
terribly, wishing we were still together today, all the
moments we've shared, touching this mind and heart with
their sacred tears of loss today.

Wanting this heart to stop yearning and longing for your
hand in mine, yet wanting to feel you close to me once
again, making love in an unconditional passion that we
both loved so much.

Feelings and emotions being intermingled with thoughts
of all we've shared through the years, an intense and
lonely void filling this being within, left by absence
of your innocent and pure heart of love.

An emptiness always felt because we two are no longer
together, yet pining for what we had, not able to de-
scribe the way I still feel about you, because of all
the time that's passed between us.

Yet, in daydreams, still seeing that beautiful smile
on your face and wishing it was for me, like before,
but now missing you very much all the time and wonder-
ing if we will ever be together again.
