Rhythms Counting Down Our Lives Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Rhythms Counting Down Our Lives

Rocking to Cold Front here at Outlaws, a totally awesome
experience, taking us out on the frontier, all western
and taking on the Old West in the 21st century.

Rhythms counting down our lives in a beautiful setting,
rolling through the desert like a spirit from above,
nothing else like it.

Staying in a comfortable sense of life where music is the
only thing in this western world, fulfilling the essence
of musicians and a mere poet.

Train whistle blowing in the distance as we rock to the
country-western music of the band, nothing else able to
stay in this western frontier.

Mind completely absorbed with rhythms following us into
every nook and cranny, hitting the beauty in every note
and tone through measures of music.
