Respect For All Flags Poem by Hebert Logerie

Respect For All Flags

Rating: 5.0

I have enormous respect for all flags
Except for the rags of hate
And ignorance. There's no debate
About that. I called them filthy rags
The rags of hate don't belong up in the sky
They belong under our feet. That's not a lie
Flags symbolize pride, bravery, guts and courage
I have immeasurable respect for the good flags
And I passionately despise dirty and trashy rags
That some extremists are shamelessly waving
In the public face. That's really disturbing
My favorite one is the flag of peace and love
This flag flies beyond and above
All the local and international banners
I'm proud to hoist the flags of valor, honor
And honesty. I especially love the unique flags of love
The ones that are floating beyond and above.

'I'm proud to hoist the flags of valor, honor'.... plus honesty, peace and love and despise the rags of hatred and ignorance. What a noble commitment for a wonderful world. Thanks.
