Reminiscence Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Reminiscence

When I was a little boy
Every little rock
Turned into a car
I made the buzzing sound
And moved it around.

When I sat in a bus
I took a front seat
As the driver turned the wheel
At every bend
I imitated what the driver did.

I went to school and then to college
Mechanical things fascinated me
At every stage
Fortunate I am I finally became
A mechanical engineer.

I designed machines
That made other machines
I learnt ways to use computers
Turned into a teacher to train
Others to become engineers.

My hobby is poetry
Both reading and writing
I describe nature
And make every effort
To motivate and inspire others.
