Remembrance Poem by Carrie Sprouse

Remembrance

Rating: 5.0

lifeless she looked
as she lie on the floor
bleeding to death
a knife as her permanent detour

drenched in blood
with cuts down her arms
she always seemed empty
like a bracelet with no charms

a suicide note
is all she left behind
as a remembrance
she hoped no one would find
