Taken Away



everything seemed to have been taken away
in the blink of an eye
i could have stopped it
but i was too shy

brown eyes of fear
death and perception
it all seemed so clear
but further away than it might have appeared

all will soon be forgotten
nothing left but fears
only what i hold inside
will bring me to tears
