Recipe Of Hate Poem by Kevin Patrick

Recipe Of Hate

Rating: 4.6

Mix
half a cup
of Ignorance
With
half a cup
of dogma
Then roll it
till it's seasoned
Into a melting pot
of stigma
Combine it in with ethnocentric bunkum The kind
that wins
the grand prize for paternalistic discrimination

Now
add two tablespoons
of Pride
With
blindly partisan beliefs
Fuse it in
with an ounce
of social ostracism
Insert a variety
of preconceived stereotypes
With a full glass
Of malicious discrimination
Then Let it simmer to
There is
Indiscriminate persecution
Taunt and deride
Whose ever strange in your eyes

This is a

Indiscriminate persecution, malicious discrimination, partisan beliefs, social ostricism..... the right ingredients for hate! I have read recipes of success, joy, happy living etc. but never a recipe of hate! This is brilliant Patrick! Enjoyed!

Must give credit where credit is due and this is a Brilliant poem! Nothing but thought provoking ideas that stand out full of truth. This is honestly a poem that can down in the historybooks. The title was clever and the theme throughout was highly creative and it was exactly as you said down to the T. A recipe of hate. I think this should be one of those poems that gets copied and pasted over and over again as it's resent to everyone in the world that has an email account. I'm sure I'm coming across as a poetic kissass BUT that is just how good this poem is and it's rare I come across poems that I can really give this much praise for all it's worth. Flawless Victory here Mr patrick you get a hat-trick for this one!
