The Race Track Of Time Poem by Kevin Patrick

The Race Track Of Time

Rating: 4.5

There is no point running backwards
retracing stolen footprints
in anticlockwise course
time cant reverse force
and if you try
it drags you down
once the starting gun is set
its the future that is met
leave the past behind
while you have this time
and race at your pace
so you enjoy the finish line

I put the focus on your very first line, 'There is no point running backwards'. A poem that goes beyond all praise!

My horse is running as fast as it can. And it will finish 1st with the publications of The Kerouac Project!
