Rabbit Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Rabbit

Rabbit

I chased a rabbit down the street.
I couldn't make out where we would meet.
Then I caught him
And we became friends.

His name was Pumpernickel by my imagination
And we had a lot to talk about.
And wow he talked so loud.
This rabbit became my sweetest friend.
