Met You Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Met You

Rating: 3.0

I once met you, in the middle of a forest.
I pretended I didn't see you.
Your garb so beautiful, your voice so sweet.
It made your grace so complete.

You enjoyed hopping here and there.
On the forest floor you danced.
Around the tree trunk you pranced.
Your mood was so merry.

I'm glad my dear bluebird,
That I met you today.
You brought me luck, beauty and happiness.
And for all that, nobody could pay.

Poem met you-indeed a love poem but twice used the forest- I once met you, in the middle of a forest/On the forest floor you danced. the party or gathering is either very calm and fearful or dull boring except the dance of the beloved..spotting one in the forest with beautiful eyes..love
