Puzzling Poem by Rhonda Baker

Puzzling

Rating: 4.5

Dragging on no end in sight
Trying to make it from day till night
Each day I awake no plan I have
These days I really long for my Mom and Dad
I clean each day to busy myself
Curtains, cushions, tub, and shelf
Even then I run out of things to do.
So I'll take a walk and try to enjoy the view
But then April showers beat me down
My heart is heavy when there is no joy to be found
So trying to piece this world together
To my sanity a threadbare tether
In a small colorful box holds my task
To make sense out of chaos is all that I ask
Studying for hours to link each piece
Some sense of accomplishment, some stress to release
It's finally all together, I've got it all done!
But of this world's problems, this is but one.
