A Moment In Paradise Poem by Rhonda Baker

A Moment In Paradise

Rating: 5.0

Hiking up to Twin Falls with my flip flops on
Living a dream I have dreamt for so long
It was farther then I thought
Some locals helped to find what I had sought
Wading through a river, over sharp and slippery rocks
Wishing I had wore my tennis shoes and socks
We made it to our destination, for a moment our piece of paradise
And NO the water did not feel like ice
It was like Traverse City Bay on a warm summer day
My moment in paradise, forever in my heart to stay
