Proud To Honor Our Veterans Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Living according to the Ten Commandments, Constitution,
its Rule of Law and the freedom we have because of our
Veterans who were ever vigilant.

Fighting to keep us free and never letting anything go
by the wayside, their families also having sacrificed
a lot just to stand behind them.

Allowing them freedom to fulfill their oaths in order
to get rid of all enemies, both foreign and domestic,
equally doing so.

No racism, intolerance or prejudice, keeping their oaths
no matter anyone's race, creed or nationality, proud to
honor our Veterans now and forever in every poem that
this mere poet has written and will write in the future.
