Pretty-Sight Poem by Manonton Dalan

Pretty-Sight

i saw fox today stalking me
she's hiding from tree to tree
drop few crackers along my way
she pick it and hide from me
so i keep doing until she's
too close, she's not scared

hungry i can see but not cold
lay down beneath naked branch
where grass is barely covering
his presence, hiding her face
i watch, she watch, we watch
each other's moves til darkness
