Prayers For Our People In Puerto Rico Poem by Hebert Logerie

Please pray for and help our brothers and sisters in Borikén
Who have been living under a lot of stress and worries
Many quakes have rocked PR; long hours feel like centuries
Our beautiful islands have been under siege and broken.

Puerto Rico, Haiti, DR and other islands have been hit hard
No electricity, no water, and food is scarce. Many are living
Under the tents, under bright stars and dark moon. Start praying
For our people, please do not stop. Everybody is on their guard.

Send your donations only to good and reputable organizations
Many streets are pulverized; bridges and houses are now cracked
Danger is everywhere. Our friends are living in dire and sad situations
Our babies are dying and our people are suffering and under attack.

Please help our brothers and sisters who are living in Puerto Rico
Please act now and send your donations and other necessities pronto.
