Poetry is an eternal quest
and serves the best
for the humankind
and finds a real outlet

we all know
about the pain and go
by general saying
and allow its swaying

what poetry has to appeal
and reveal
the hidden fact
with all words at disposal to react

it is not an easy
and keeps all humans busy
in day-to-day struggle
to come over the hurdles

the poet is a voice
and promises
to be their spokesperson
for various reasons

it is not the rhetoric competition
but reflection of
suffering, anguish and pain
by all human beings
