Poetry and pain are,
Branches of the same tree,
The tree is ‘Love'.
The deeper the pain,
The better the poem,
And the brighter is the poet.
Even when the poet writes
About the joyous stories of life,
Sorrow lies buried, underneath.

This never ending sorrow, This always pending sorrow, Haunts the poet, today, And maybe even more tomorrow. Never, a better, deeper understanding of what a poet feels, pain, poetry, love. Perfect and ever encompassing in its simplicity and far reaching beauty. A very touching Masterpiece.
I am overrwhelmed by the high praise strewn like flower petals on my poem. Yhanks and gratitude, dear poet @Sandra Feldman.

Like a mother going through pains before she gives birth to the baby, a poet has his deep layers of pain before he creates his flower of poetry. Thanks for sharing the lovely poem
