Khairul Ahsan

A Poet's Heart

A poet's wandering heart is precious
Only to a few eager souls, who hear
Their heart's songs echoed in his words.
That's why to them, the poet is so dear.

A poet's heart cannot be possessed
By a single soul mate entwined or not,
For a poet's heart is free to wander,
From heaven to earth without a thought.

Poets enjoy a unique friendship
And fraternity at home and abroad,
Their words can cheer wistful minds
And bind by friendship's invisible cord.

Blandishments! It defines every member of this web. Not only members but every poets and writers around the world! This keeps the people with paper and ink to bind together and this are all our similarities that only us can understand and the inexpressive ones cannot. I hope our nature will be preserved and we can still be able to pass this onto the next generation. (Report) Reply

We poets wander the universe in verse, letting our words travel freely all over the world,
yet never losing the invisible cord that connects us. Truly outstanding poem Khairul! ! Love

Beautiful expressions of a poet's heart. Truly a poets heart can not be possessed accept by his poetry. Yet in his wanderings he belongs to all. Thank you for letting me know about this poem and thank you so much for reading mine. We are fortunate to be able to connect from far off places through poetry. (Report) Reply
