Poetry! An Uppity Friend! Poem by Savita Tyagi

Poetry! An Uppity Friend!

Rating: 5.0

Poetry you are such an uppity friend
At your whim you appear and disappear
Like an unscheduled train lost on track
Oblivious to the angst of riders pack
But the crux of happiness I too have learned
Learning to be evenhanded with my sack
Now you are neither my enemy nor a friend.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This morning I learned few new words through reading some poems. Inspiration to write this came from my desire to use those words. When it comes to poetry I am still like a child in classroom. Still learning!

Yes, the queen is very arrogant but she he got wonderful power to lift your soul and all compartments of your train of imagination instantly by taking you to inaccessible zones! You don’t know when and how it well creep into your mind taking your soul to some distinct places where you are observant through a pair of blissful eyes! On the contrary, she may not come to you even if you try to force her! A great write! !

Poetry is not one whom we can persuade to come to us at our beck and call! It is arrogant and is not bothered about our interests! However when it makes its appearance, we are so delighted! Beautiful poem, Savita! We are all children still learning when it comes to writing poems!
