Falling Snowflakes Poem by Savita Tyagi

Falling Snowflakes

Rating: 4.8

I dream of climbing the mountains
Yet avoid the uphill battle of
Neighborhood streets!

I imagine being surrounded with icy peaks
But watch the plump, falling snow flakes
Only from my window!

With extended palms
I stand by my kitchen door
to catch ivory snowflakes!

The feel, the touch, the chill of cold
All are welcoming treats
Just for a little while!

Sometimes the bliss of dreamworld
Is far more enticing than the
Dynamic charm of phenomenal world!

Some where above the gray clouds
Where heavens lean down to kiss the snowy hills
The both worlds must be teaming up!

The big white snowflakes rush
Towards the dry brown soil.
My static eyes and wandering mind
Catch the sensation in rotating shifts!
