Playing With Magic Poem by Nicola Thoner

Playing With Magic

She.
Through the musk of violet burning with potent flames of earth
She is.

Ethereal, unreal
Where do you belong
Sweet star child?

Underneath the drumming heartbeat of this solstice moon
Whispers of lost magic in the air
And I have never witnessed anything so beautiful

These words are my offering
To heal and to hold
Scar and remould
To fervour the soul

My love is my gift
Freely given, taken
Shaken and broken
But unstirred

This earth as my body
The water my blood
Air my breath and
Fire my spirit

Goddess
This is my prayer
