When people change
Nature arranges
Simple alteration
To remove suffocation
Previously people shed blood for peace
For liberty and freedom to live at an ease
Where is that real freedom with movement?
Read today the speeches of leaders and their comments
Whole of world is fully established
Their stand is already stated and published
The bloodshed is for altering the global scenario
No nation can afford or allow it to go
It is matched with greed
W have not paid any heed
We removed one dictator
But many have emerged as mentors
Let governments take up arms
Protect people from any harm
Ideology or no ideology
Everybody wants peaceful living and harmony

21st March 2015 TO: Mr Hashmuhh Mehta Thank you very much, and especially to Mr. Mehta for gifting me an excellent poem on such an out and out prosaic matter. It has been rightly observed, “It is matched with greed / We have not paid any heed / We removed one dictator / But many have emerged as mentors. However, it is important that we identify where the ‘greed’ is. It is in the ‘majoritarian democracy’ in Europe which is indifferent to the sensitivities of minorities, even though they are a legacy of imperialism in Africa particularly. This has been fueled by the deceptive panacea of ‘globalization & privatization’ which has indeed fueled terrorism. Now, America is the creator of Al Qaida which is an open secret to-day. They heavily armed Talibans to drive out the Russians and the process of birth of Al Qaida started. Hindusthan Standard was a popular daily till it closed about 50 years back of which Mr. Niranjan Majumdar was my favorite columnist. On his first visit to America Majumdar observed, “There has been too much concentration of power to use it wisely and well”. He was amazingly prophetic!
