Path of virtue and good conduct is said to be the healthy nature
..Of controlling the five senses and removing the mental impurity
Of the following four useless activities such as telling lie,
..Speaking ill of others in spite of their good character,
Saying harsh words, saying messages of no use in what we speak!

இரு விகற்ப நேரிசை வெண்பா
பொய்குறளை வன்சொல் பயனிலவென் றிந்நான்கும்
எய்தாமை சொல்லின் வழுக்காத்து - மெய்யிற்
புலமைந்துங் காத்து மனமா(சு) அகற்றும்
நலமன்றே நல்லா(று) எனல்.60 - நீதிநெறி விளக்கம்
