Part Of The Kerch-Bridge Is Destroyed Poem by Gert Strydom

On the 17th if July 2022,
the deputy chairman Dimitry Medvedev
of the Russian security council said:
'In case something happened (in Crimea) ,
simultaneously for all (Ukrainians)
over there,
it will be the day of last judgement"

Dmitry Medvedev: 'Let's imagine that Russia is forced to use the most fearsome weapon against the Ukrainian regime which has committed a large scale act of aggression that is dangerous for the very existence of our state. I have to remind you again, for those deaf ears who only hear themselves; Russia has the right to use nuclear weapons if necessary. We will only do so in predetermined cases. I believe that NATO will not directly interfere in the conflict, even in this scenario. The demagogues across the ocean (Americans) and in Europe are not going to die in a nuclear apocalypse.'

For Russia in invasion great destruction came,
this rivals Medvedev's and Putin's greatest fears,
where literally Vladimir Putin is in tears,
with Medvedev threatened in their war-game:

if the Kerch Bridge to any destruction came:
a nuclear blast will awaken all deaf ears;
from Russia streamed the war-machine to the frontiers,
through Crimea, which is Russia's only in name.

Over two hundred thousand by road and rail
came along with Russian holiday-makers
and now for the rest of that million troops
the quick transport into Ukraine does fail,
while the hawks, war-mongers and partakers,
are split through in-fighting in their various groups.

A suspected bomb or missile attack and blast,
caused a part of the bridge in the Kerch Strait to collapse,
Russians in Crimea and Russia are aghast,
where now this war with its impact traps

them into the cause and destructive effect,
of how Ukraine stops the vicious attacks
that Putin do on innocent civilians direct:
that Russia looses no one understanding lacks,

to bring a million more troops in is difficult
where the twelve mile Kerch Strait Bridge is down,
to a halt it does re-supplies catapult
and afraid are the military in the Sevastopol town:

they know that Ukraine is taking its own back,
that they fight to survive even if the do resources lack.

To Joe Biden, Elon Musk and alike that are afraid,
(that in appeasement forgets the Second World War :)
that where Russia occupy there is death and much more:
I beg of you to continue Ukraine much more to aid.

To take all Europe Putin will his people persuade,
there is no way to deliver Ukraine to rape and gore,
to supreme evil in its machinations to ignore,
where by Putin's will and whim Russia did invade.

Nothing will Putin if left, in the future stop,
to take with force just where and when he does want
and if he wishes a Third World War will rage,
past significant is this bridge, of which a part did drop,
while with broken bonds Putin does angrily rant
and barbaric are Russian acts in this age,

but still I do believe that the good will prevail,
that God rules supreme and will a reckoning bring,
inaction and not speaking up makes people to fail,
we cannot go on (as evil flourishes) in just existing.

Crimea and each part on Ukraine do to it belong,
and the way that the counter offensive goes
I sense that Ukraine's hope and faith is strong,
it brings upon the Russian army destruction and woes,

while very brave Ukrainians try to exist,
are by Russians pillaged, robbed and bereft
and no one should for them to loose insist
while to a great victory open a way is left,

where like millions of others I say: bravo Ukraine:
may God grant it that you will survive and gain.

[Poet's note: It has been two weeks that I have been banned from Facebook without breaking any of their values. It's very clear that laws that cannot be changed that are protected in the constitution like Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion has been broken. Where Joe Biden and his democratic party are treading these down. Another government will come into place that does adhere to these principles that God have set in place and the People at Facebook that without any rights have done damage to me will be taken to a full reckoning.]
