Pampa: I Went There Poem by Thampi KEE

Pampa: I Went There

Rating: 5.0

Pampa I love you

when I went there full of waters
shining light of lights
Which lights the mind of man
Shining... the love, waving the crowd
Proudly you flowed to me
I never forget cheer of you
when ever I met you
It seemed you as a holiest river
I never think so here to remain
It is not to be seen beneath the appearances
I wish to be with you alone and alone
Shadow of trees fell upon us
The night fall upon us
The narrow eyes dreamed to kiss

Now I again went there to meet again
and again you are remained as holiest
still the waters covered your body is shining

Now I love you to be the holiest
to all of waves of the oceans

Most of the rivers are beautiful and sometimes fierce in the rainy season! I remember having seen the Pampa river on a trip to Pathanamthitta! You have captured the beauty off the river Pampa!
