And yes, I can finally say for sure
I’m over you
That unhinging feeling of regret
The pain that I felt
It vanished in the blink of eye
I don’t know when
I don’t know how
I just know that I’m relieved
It was a burden
And I carried it unwillingly
But I guess if I do say so
I’m glad I did
That burden taught me things
It taught me to love myself anew
It taught me to give importance
To things I really love
And now I can say for sure
That even if it takes me
5 or 6 years to find my soul mate
I’ll survive
I’ve finally found inner peace
And I can honestly say
I’ll be happy
On my own
