Questionable Doubt Poem by Farina Afrin Malik

Questionable Doubt

Rating: 4.5

Find me a way
Show it to me clearer
So I may share it with you
The road twists and turns
Highways grow longer
I sit and think of you

The smile that you see
Tis not a lie
I shan't not further explain
Your memories grow weak
Laughter seems far
Yet my thoughts do not wane

I wanted to tell you how I felt
the minute I saw you I did
The fear of losing you
Made me stop
I hope this you shall forgive

The momentary lapse of judgement
Made us lose our way
I keep searching for an opening
praying I shall find one someday

Your warmth it kept me standing
made me proud and tall
your absence drains my life source
totally empty and small

Without you I am no one
I fear I am not me

Who am I should be the question
Actually, who is it you see?

As the poem does continue
I notice I diverge

Lines becoming shorter
Congested thoughts converge

The last line this shall be, au revoir mon ami.
