Our Lady Of Paris In Tears And In Flames Poem by Hebert Logerie

Our Lady Of Paris In Tears And In Flames

We've shed tons of tears for Our Lady in flames.
The scenic ceiling is no more. The aorta of the cathedral
Is burnt and ruined. No smile for such a glorious woman!
Everything is sad. Fire has destroyed a magisterial sanctuary,
Where millions of pilgrims come to visit and pray.
Our Lady is aflame and afire, and the world is in tears,
In front of this calamity. This is hurtful! This spits fears!
Yes, we must pray all the time for our world.
Mind you, only two seconds are needed for us to vanish.
Poor Queen, poor Woman in tears and in flames!
The world in mourning calms down the morning after.
