It is river in spate
That tries to relate
Her mental state
By madly rushing straight
She has no control
Wants to respond to call
To see the sea is only aim
She is hitting banks with no shame
Destruction is seen everywhere
Is the prize so severe?
For meeting lover
I have no answer
The sea smiles at mad adventure
The hands are open to incur
Any wrath that she may want to inflict
With final calm or irate act
What a journey to take with
Totally hostile and armed with teeth
She is back home with great pleasure
Let us meet our goal and ensure
Destruction is seen everywhere....this is the truth dear poet
That was great too! 15 Dec by Chloe Brink to Our goal
I read your poem. What's the relationship of us for our goal? To meet in the vast ocean? To join after death?

Very nice poem. So well written. Nature is always the ultimate teacher.
