Other Side Of The Coin Poem by Jayatissa K. Liyanage

Other Side Of The Coin

Night makes us feel the value of the Day
Loss hints the thrill of the gain per se
Failure directs one towards success, as it may
Pain reiterates joy of relief, being solace's way

a hot day can also make us feel the value of a cool night. and failure may NOT lead to success as well. i have some trouble with understanding 'pain reiterates joy of relief'. nice rhyming. and thanks for the following comment you sent to me: Date & Time: 6/15/2015 9: 33: 00 PM Remove this comment Poem: 42505382 - The Man In The Checkered Shirt …. [outward Appearances; Human Ones; My Thoughts; Medium] Member: Jayatissa K. Liyanage Comment: More than a poem, it is a lesson, in my vie, Bri. We, very often waste our precious time looking in to unwanted things in others' lives, whereas, what should have been looked in to remains unnoticed even. There is a deep meaning in the poem. I enjoyed reading it. Thanks very much. bri :)

You have such a lovely command of language, so sweetly my soul is stirred. Thank you for your recent comments. In my peaceful prayers I keep you, being saddened for the suffering of all innocence. I am happy that it is our similarities that unite us, and not differences that divide. The words you left me with, so true...we both believe such evil has no merit...My hand, always outstretched in friendship.PEACE
